NOTORIOUS Brexiteer Jacob Rees-Moggs MP is a greater risk to the current Union of UK nations than absentee Mid Ulster Sinn Fein MP Francie Molloy.
This is the claim of a new App that measures how individual MPs contribute to the long term sustainably of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Some shocking results have emerged as a consequence of the fact that both Scotland and Northern Ireland can leave the UK if a majority agree.
‘MPsSUC App’ creator Eugene Bartholomew Skroat put all 650 MPs elected to the Commons through his programme that takes into account a complex series of parameters including House of Commons voting patterns, the number of MP’s their party has and positions on constitutional issues such as BREXIT, the Good Friday Agreement and Scottish Independence.
Positions on wider issues such as climate change, abortion, LGBT and equality issues are also considered.
The App also postulates the political positions and actions likely to sustain the UK in its existing form or lead to its breakup.
Amazingly (or perhaps not) the App revealed that separatist MP’s and parties were less risk to the union that some strongly Unionist MP’s.
This was partly through separatist lack of numbers, but also the pursuit of reckless policies by some Tory MPs who have abandoned consensus politics.
Consequently there was an unlikely correlation between these Tory MP’s and the SNP and Plaid Cymru both.
UK standard bearer and PM Boris Johnston’s constitutes the same risk to the Union as SNP Commons leader Ian Blackford MP, who wants Scotland to secede from it.
Near the top of the Union friendly MPs is Lib Dem leader Jo Swinson, with Rees-Moggs near the bottom.
The App found that Jacob Rees-Moggs was a slightly greater risk to the UK than Mid Ulster’s Sinn Fein MP Francie Molloy, with DUP group leader Nigel Dodds not far behind him.
Mr Rees-Moggs declined to comment on being found an equal risk to the integrity of the UK as a member of a party that was the political wing of a terrorist organisation that butchered 1000’s in a 30 year campaign aimed at separating NI from the rest of the UK and still regularly eulogises its ‘martyrs’.
“Oligarchy and terrorism have more moral equivalence than most people realize,” Mr Skroat revealed, “both corrode the integrity of democratic structures.
“Greedy rich English nationalists and IRA terrorists though their methods and motivations are different, have the same political affect,” Skroat said, “under different names and guises they’ve been fighting each other for 800 years and dragging the rest of us in!”
The App also revealed that North Down Independent Unionist MP Lady Sylvia Herman is a bigger friend to the Union than any of the ten DUP MPs.
“That wouldn’t be hard,” Lady Sylvia quipped.
